Meet Juliana Krys
Juliana Krys Jewelry Image

Born in Michigan but having lived in Aspen full time for over 15 years, jewelry designer Juliana Krys got her start selling jewelry to family and friends in Aspen before launching her namesake brand in Miami. Juliana has always had an eye for beautiful things. She developed a passion for art, design and fashion after living in places like Madrid, Paris, London, Aspen and Los Angeles. With an undergraduate degree in Art History from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in Contemporary Art History from Sotheby’s Institute in London, Juliana’s career began at Aspen’s Baldwin Gallery cultivating a deep appreciation for contemporary art that influences her designs.

After moving to Miami from Aspen in 2012, Juliana saw a gap in the market for elegant, yet accessible jewelry that allows women to express their unique style every day. She began by experimenting with beading, exploring jewelry shows, and building relationships with vendors, which laid the foundation for the launch of Juliana Krys Jewelry.

Her designs quickly gained traction among friends and family, evolving her personal passion into a successful business. Rooted in her signature aesthetic of pairing laid-back essentials with high-end jewelry, Juliana brings her philosophy, "Elevate Your Everyday," to life. Manufactured in New York, her collection includes standout pieces such as the Evil Eye Ring, inscribed with the word "protected," and the Lacy Tennis Bracelet, her take on the classic tennis bracelet, showcasing her dedication to distinctive design and exceptional craftsmanship.

Jewelry has always been more than just an accessory to me—it's a way to tell a story and elevate the everyday. I believe in the power of small, thoughtful details, and how they can completely transform how you feel in your own skin. My collection is meant to move with you throughout your day, adapting seamlessly to whatever life brings, from casual moments to more polished occasions.

Beyond her jewelry line, Juliana also takes great pride in giving back to the community. Juliana is vice chair of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation where she and her husband chair the capital campaign for the health system. She currently resides in Coral Gables with her husband, son and two dogs and looks forward to visits from her three adult children. She never leaves the house without her favorite JK jewelry pieces and believes jewelry is meant to be worn, and not kept in a safe.
